OUR STORY

Mane Haven was born from a lifelong dream between two sisters, Katie and Kelly, who grew up right in Lombard, Illinois. Their creativity sparked early: setting up sidewalk stands to sell handmade jewelry, crafts, and flag pins during the Fourth of July. Even as little kids, they knew one day they’d open a salon together.

The name “Mane Haven” was inspired by their family’s favorite place, Woodhaven Lakes. It was their weekend escape growing up—full of comfort, connection, and happy memories. That same feeling of ease and belonging is what they dreamed of recreating for guests. The name came before the location, and in a full-circle moment, they found the perfect space—on Main Street.

Mane Haven officially opened in spring of 2023 with a mission: to create a space where creativity, connection, and community thrive. A space that’s both elevated and approachable. Katie and Kelly are passionate about big transformations, personalized experiences, and helping other stylists grow through mentorship and education.

This isn’t just a salon. It’s a haven—where every guest and team member is made to feel seen, celebrated, and truly at home.
